Answer

How do you switch a crypto fund to a new administrator?

Switching administrator means moving the fund's opening balances, investor register and NAV history to the new administrator at an agreed cut-over date. At Agio, the opening position is loaded into the fund ledger as journal entries, and digital-asset valuations start once each holding has an opening balance.

What should the outgoing administrator hand over?

The last approved NAV and NAV per share for each class or series, the trial balance and general ledger at cut-over, the share register with each holding, high-water marks, accrued fees, open subscriptions and redemptions, the list of bank, exchange and wallet accounts, and any open reconciliation breaks.

How does Agio load the opening position?

Journal entries can be uploaded as a CSV file grouped by entry number. Agio's team loads NAV history and the investor register during onboarding; there is no self-service import for them.

What should be checked before the first NAV?

Reconcile the loaded register to the ledger, and the ledger to bank, exchange and wallet statements at the cut-over date. Agio's first NAV run will not lock while the fund NAV and the investors' capital accounts disagree.
